We pride ourselves on a socially responsible approach to communicating with clever design. Our practice focuses on divergent research, long-lasting bonds with our collaborators and detailed, immersive solutions. This output has led us to flexibly work across projects from grassroots not-for-profits to multi-national tech companies. If you can guess the reference in our studio name, this may also give you an insight to our (terrible) sense of humour.

The studio is led by partners, Dane Kerr and Kasia Ilczyszyn, with a trusted team of collaborators in web development, illustration, photography, production, print and more, allowing us to deliver enriched outcomes to your project. Outside of studio practice, Dane & Kasia teach Communication Design at Monash University. Susu Studio also operate Footscray Office Of Design – a shared creative hub in the heart of Footscray.

Susu Studio acknowledges that we work and prosper on the country of First Nations' peoples. We pay our respects to their Elders past, present and emerging. Always was, always will be Aboriginal Land. As part of reparations, the studio proudly makes monthly contributions to the Pay The Rent Grassroots Collective. Pay The Rent enables funds to be contributed by individuals directly to grassroots causes and campaigns with a focus on protecting First Nations rights.
