World Aeropress
Championships
You’ll notice many bewildered faces when describing a
competition that involves contestants fighting for the title
of best coffee made with an Aeropress device. However
this truly world-wide event has a cult following that
reaches from Tokyo to Warsaw to Uganda to Melbourne. Susu Studio was tasked with communciating the pivot
to an online-only event (confused even more?) in post-pandemic 2021.
Inspired by the idea of viewing WAC as a global sporting
festival (a la the World Cup or Olympics), the ‘21 branding
took on a clash of colour, hand-made typography, mixed
media and energetic layouts.
